Research interests
I use tools from traditional and evolutionary game theory to analyse social interactions that (potentially) involve strategic motives. My research focuses on the scope and limitations of models based on methodological individualism in interpreting individual behaviour (human or otherwise) as it is manifested in social settings. It spans along three main directions: how individuals think, what they are motivated by, and what the researcher can infer. My doctorate thesis explored some theoretical aspects of social (strategic) behaviour and investigated its empirical manifestations.
Teaching Interests
Over the course of the last seven years I have been teaching at the University of Cambridge, where I have lectured or supervised on microeconomics (Paper 1 in Parts I, IIA, and IIB), mathematics and Statistics (Paper 3 in Part I, Paper 6 in part IIA), political economics (Paper 5 in Part IIB), and public economics (Paper 7 in Part IIB).
