Degrees
B.A. (Hons), Human Genetics, Trinity College Dublin
PhD, Molecular biology, University of Vienna.
Research interests
My main research interests are focused on understanding genome evolution in plants, particularly the repeat rich and complex regions of the genome. My goal is to understand how genomes are shaped by adaptation and the impact on developmental processes and cellular functions.
Teaching Interests
Molecular genetics, population genetics, botany
