Degrees
Dr.rer.nat in Applied Mathematics (University of Vienna)
MSc Mathematics (University of Vienna)
BSc Mathematics (University of Vienna)
Research interests
My main research interests lie in mathematical image processing and real-world applications. In particular, I am interested in image quality assessment to evaluate machine learning algorithms and its impact to medical image applications. In addition, recently, I have started to look into the application of image processing and machine learning to musical cultural heritage data.
Teaching Interests
I teach or have taught topics related to mathematical image processing, programming and statistics.

Other interests
I am also a baroque violinist and Nyckelharpa player and am enjoying to perform with several early music and Folk ensembles. In my projects I am combining research to lesser-known musical sources of the 17th/18th century, historical performance practice and innovation for modern concert formats.
