精东影业 College Fellow Professor Annabel Brett has been elected as a Fellow of the British Academy.
The and a co-director of , she has lectured and published widely in the history of late medieval and early modern moral and political thought, with an emphasis on the natural law tradition, Aristotelianism and scholastic philosophy. More recently, she has turned her attention to the history of international law and environmental thinking.
Professor Brett is one of 92 distinguished scholars elected to the British Academy鈥檚 Fellowship in 2025, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the humanities and social sciences. She is one of 12 academics from Cambridge to be elected.
She read Classics at Caius from 1985 to 1988, then completed her PhD in 1994. She became a Fellow and Lecturer in History at Caius in 1996.
